Hi! I am Johanna, a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
I study how organizations evaluate novel ideas—a key challenge in strategy and innovation. My research focuses on when and why evaluators overlook promising ideas or advance weak ones, and how evaluation shapes individuals’ ability to revise, abandon, or generate ideas. Broadly, I aim to understand how organizations can build and sustain strong idea pipelines over time.
I received my Ph.D. in Management from the Kuehne Logistics University. During my doctoral studies, I was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich and the Department of Strategy and Innovation at CBS. Before joining academia, I worked as a Data Scientist.
I am on the 2025-2026 academic job market.
